Cattle · Sheep · Pigs

Our own money, our own stock.

Emily and Nick run cattle, sheep and pigs on agisted land. Every sale goes towards buying a farm of our own.

Why we do it

Putting our money where our mouth is

Nick runs Farm CFO, helping farmers with budgets, cashflow and the bank. Middleway is where we use the same tools on our own stock.

We budget it, track the cash and live with the result. It keeps the advice honest.

The plan

From agisted land to our own place

  1. Agist land

We rent grazing from other landholders instead of buying land.

  2. Run good stock

Cattle, sheep and pigs, bred and looked after by us.

    We’re here
  3. Save every sale

What we make goes back into the business and into savings.

  4. Buy our own place

The goal: a property of our own, paid for by the stock.

What we run

Three types of stock

Black Angus cattle with yellow ear tags

Cattle

Emily's side of the business. She also runs the cattle at the Morisset Show.

Merino sheep in dry yards with gum trees behind

Sheep

Sheep that suit running on agisted country.

Piglets in a shed under a heat lamp

Pigs

Nick's background, from years preparing stud pigs for show.

No stock for sale yet. We also don’t take farm visits. Follow along and we’ll share news here.
